Making the Green Transformation

Businesses face many challenges and opportunities as we work to achieve the targets of the European Green Deal, including a 40% cut in CO2 emissions by 2030 and climate neutrality by 2050. Some industries, such as chemicals, steel and energy, are particularly in the sights of the European Commission, but all sectors need to respond, even if only through sustainability reporting and sustainable investment requirements. At the same time, making Europe a resource efficient and competitive economy is creating many business opportunities.

Key educational message

This workshop will highlight key risk-related issues in the European Green Deal. Companies are at different stages of maturity in their sustainability development. The session will be an opportunity to learn how others are approaching the issues.
